A personal injury law firm led by Marblehead attorney Robert Mazow returned to Bates Elementary School on Friday, May 29, to donate bicycle helmets to about 125 third- and fourth-graders.
The firm, Mazow McCullough, PC, said the donation continued its partnership with the Salem school and was timed to the warmer months, when more children ride bikes to school and around their neighborhoods. Students received properly fitted helmets, the firm said.
"We're proud to continue partnering with Bates Elementary to help promote bicycle safety and provide helmets to local students," said Mazow, a firm partner who lives in Marblehead. "Supporting families and investing in the safety of children in our community is deeply important to all of us at Mazow McCullough."
Bates Elementary Principal Sue Faria Smith thanked the firm for the donation. "Safety is always our top priority at school, making this a particularly meaningful gift that reinforces the importance of staying safe both in and out of the classroom," she said. "We are grateful knowing that our student bike riders will be safer because of this thoughtful and generous donation."
Mazow McCullough is a Salem-based firm that has practiced personal injury law for more than two decades. It is led by partners Mazow, of Marblehead, and Kevin McCullough, of Danvers.
