Rj Cowdery and Hope Dunbar take the stage on Friday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. Cowdery's lyric-rich music has won the Kerrville New Folk contest and the Mountain Stage New Song contest, as well as Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist and Sisters Folk Festival honors. Dunbar, a singer-songwriter from Utica, Nebraska, writes semi-autobiographical songs blending Americana prairie style with country-folk sounds.
Online tickets are available only at meandthee.org and in person at Arnould Gallery, 111 Washington Street. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. with community seating.
Me&Thee is an all-volunteer, nonprofit arts organization sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Church, 28 Mugford Street, Marblehead, where freshly baked desserts, coffee, tea and mulled cider are served each week. Press tickets are available on request; contact Anthony Silva at 508-641-0767.
