St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Marblehead will host its annual Spring Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at 135 Lafayette St., continuing a longstanding community tradition that supports local outreach ministries and programs. The sale features a broad assortment of donated new and gently used goods, including clothing and accessories for all ages, home goods, linens, small appliances, tools, toys, games, and a specialty boutique area with vintage items, crystal, china, and higher-end pieces.

In addition to the main sale, organizers will offer a $10 preview party on Wednesday, May 7, from 7 to 9 p.m., giving attendees early access to top items. Bargain shoppers can also take advantage of a “Stuff-a-Bag” promotion from noon to 1 p.m. on sale day, allowing them to fill a jumbo bag for $5. Donations will be accepted May 2 through May 6, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with proceeds directly funding the church’s charitable work.

Event organizers emphasize the dual impact of the sale: raising funds for community support initiatives while promoting sustainability by giving pre-owned items a second life. The church notes that the event is fully accessible, with free on-site and nearby parking available, and encourages early arrival for the best selection. Leaders say the rummage sale reflects the parish’s commitment to generosity, connection, and environmental responsibility.
