The Rev. Patrick T. Gray has been called as Priest in Charge of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, effective Oct. 1.
Gray spent more than 16 years as rector of Christ Church in Hamilton-Wenham and seven years as associate rector and curate at the Church of the Advent in Boston. "I am delighted and deeply grateful," he said of the call.
Senior Warden Robert L. Howie, Jr. welcomed the appointment. St. Michael's, founded in 1714 at 26 Pleasant Street, holds Sunday liturgy at 10 a.m. and keeps traditions including the Fourth of July-weekend Lobster Lunch, the Spooktacular Halloween Open House, Christmas caroling, the tree lighting and the Christmas fair.
