Award-winning duo Duvekot and Glier unite for Me&Thee concert

Me&Thee Music will feature award-winning singer-songwriter Antje Duvekot and Grammy-nominated artist Seth Glier in concert at 8 p.m. Nov. 7.

The performance, a collaboration more than a year in the making, brings together two acclaimed folk performers. Duvekot has won the John Lennon Songwriting Competition’s grand prize, the Kerrville Folk Festival’s Best New Folk Award and a Boston Music Award for outstanding folk act. She has toured widely across the United States and Europe and performed at major festivals including the Newport Folk Festival and the Celtic Connections Festival in Scotland.

Glier, from western Massachusetts, has served as a U.S. State Department cultural diplomat and performed internationally. He has shared stages with Ronnie Spector, James Taylor and Ani DiFranco. His latest album, “Everything,” explores themes of environmental restoration and connection between people and nature.

Nonperishable food donations for the Marblehead Food Pantry will be collected before the show. Tickets are available at meandthee.org or in person at Arnould Gallery, 111 Washington St., Marblehead. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.

Me&Thee Music is an all-volunteer, nonprofit arts organization sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Church at 28 Mugford St., Marblehead. Refreshments, including coffee and desserts, will be available.
