Candlelight chamber concert to feature ‘The Colors of Quartets’ Oct. 18

A candlelight chamber music concert titled “The Colors of Quartets” will be held at 8 p.m. Oct. 18 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 26 Pleasant St.

The program features Bernard Henrik Crusell’s Flute Quartet in D, Op. 8; François Devienne’s Bassoon Quartet No. 1 in C, Op. 73, No. 1; and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s String Quartet in G, K. 387.

Performers include Cristie Squires, Alan Hawryluk, Joe Simcox, Judith Ahrens, Shu Satoh, Susan Holcomb, Paula McDonald, Rob Bethel, Ellen Culp, Helen Golding and Sheila Vitale.

A freewill donation will be accepted at the door to benefit St. Michael’s Church.
