Marblehead Independent survey invites resident input before Town Meeting

Table of Contents

The Marblehead Independent is inviting Marblehead residents age 18 and older to take a short community survey on several of the biggest issues ahead of the 2025 Town Meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026.

The survey asks about the town’s budget and override question, service priorities, and a small number of other major issues likely to shape debate before Town Meeting. It should take about five minutes to complete.

This is a community sentiment survey, not a scientific poll. It is an open, voluntary, nonprobability survey of Marblehead residents. Responses are anonymous within the form, and results will be used to inform the Marblehead Independent’s coverage before Town Meeting. Results will be reported only in aggregate. The Independent will not publish individual responses or identify respondents.

The survey is being shared through the Independent’s coverage, email outreach, word of mouth, social media, and public QR-code flyers around town. It will remain open until Thursday, April 2, 2026.

The goal is to help bring more Marblehead voices into the conversation ahead of Town Meeting and to better understand how residents are thinking about several major issues facing the town. Thank you for taking part.
