Table of Contents

Marblehead has issued a three-day snow emergency parking ban beginning Wednesday night as winter weather, including snow and ice, moves through the area.

The ban will be in effect from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It is expected to be lifted at 7 a.m. Saturday.

During the designated hours, parking will be prohibited on public roadways. Vehicles in violation may be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense to allow snow removal crews and emergency vehicles access to roadways.

Officials urged residents and visitors to plan accordingly and park responsibly to keep streets clear and safe.

Drivers are reminded to watch for pedestrians who may be walking in roadways and to proceed cautiously when approaching or passing them.

Updates on parking restrictions will be posted on the Marblehead website and local police and fire departments’ social media pages.
