Marblehead organizers said they will hold a No Kings protest March 28 as part of what they described as a nationwide day of nonviolent action. The event is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Maple Street in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Organizers said residents from Marblehead and nearby towns are expected to join demonstrations across the country tied to the third No Kings National Day of Nonviolent Action. In a statement, Kate Borten of the Marblehead No Kings Day Committee said participants are calling for “a return to civility and lawful action based on our country’s founding principles” and share “a commitment to peaceful protest and public safety.”

Organizers described No Kings as a mass protest movement and said it drew more than 5 million participants on June 14, 2025, and more than 7 million across all 50 states and the District of Columbia on Oct. 18, 2025. They said partner groups include the ACLU, Indivisible, MoveOn and SEIU.
