Marblehead Rotary Club's 5K for mental health set for Nov. 2

Table of Contents

Marblehead Rotary’s annual 5K will fund local schools’ access to Inner Explorer, a nonprofit that offers evidence-based, audio-guided daily mindfulness used in more than 7,000 schools nationwide. Organizers say the program helps reduce chronic stress and build students’ self-awareness, attention and self-control.

The race begins and ends at Crocker Park. The Boston Yacht Club will serve clam chowder and hot dogs to runners after the finish. Organizers seek sponsors and more than 150 runners.

For details on the race, Rotary membership or Inner Explorer, email Nancy Gwin at gwinnancy@gmail.com. Guests may visit the Boston Yacht Club at noon Thursdays to meet Rotary Club President Aviv Hod.
