Marblehead Youth Soccer marks 50 years with golf classic

Table of Contents

The Marblehead Youth Soccer Association will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the inaugural MYSA Golf Classic on Oct. 6 at Tedesco Country Club.

The event, beginning with an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start, will bring together players, families, alumni and supporters. Proceeds will fund new AI-enabled video technology to enhance training and preserve game memories for families. Funds will also continue to support fully paid scholarships, ensuring every child in Marblehead has access to soccer.

“As we celebrate 50 years of soccer in Marblehead, this is more than just a fundraiser — it’s a chance to honor our past, strengthen our present, and invest in the future of the game for generations to come,” said Karen Philip, MYSA president.

The golf classic is the first of several Golden Anniversary celebrations planned through the fall and spring seasons.
