Marblehead Public Schools will remain closed Tuesday, Feb. 24, adding a second weather-related closure and effectively extending the February school-break week by two days.
Emergency crews will remain on duty while residents are barred from leaving cars, boats or trailers on public roads beginning Sunday night under a snow emergency.
A snow emergency parking ban is in effect as of 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, and will remain in effect until 7 a.m. Saturday due to forecasted mixed precipitation, including ice and 2 to 4 inches of additional snow.
