To the editor:

I have known Jennifer for almost 50 years, and I would trust her with my life. Although we can disagree on labor issues and do not always align politically, I truly believe she is the best candidate for the Marblehead Select Board. Jen is a lifelong resident, raised her children here and has poured her heart and soul into our community. She has an extensive financial background and will bring much-needed oversight to our town’s spending to stop the bleeding. I have served with Jennifer on the Marblehead Housing Authority since 2023 and she is always prepared, informed and listens to all points of view. She is not afraid to make hard decisions for the greater good. Marblehead needs courage, caring, but most of all financial oversight. That is why I wholeheartedly support Jennifer Schaeffner for Select Board. With her in place, your override vote can comfortably be yes!
