William “Bill” Francis Winslow of Stoneham formerly of Reading passed away peacefully on June 18 surrounded by his family.

He was born in Marblehead, son of the late Harold and Helen Winslow. Beloved husband of Oralee (Lee) Winslow. Loving father of William F. Winslow Jr. and Kristen O’Brien and her husband Christopher. Proud ‘Papa’ to Rachel, Matthew, Maeve and Mary-Kate. Brother to Elizabeth McCollum and the late Margaret Ott.

Bill was born and raised in Marblehead. After graduating from Marblehead High School, Brewster Academy and the University of New Hampshire, Bill joined the Navy and was a proud Vietnam veteran. He had a successful 35-year career in Human Resources and thoroughly enjoyed his retirement in Port Charlotte, Fla. His retirement was filled with lots of golf, travel and pool and beach days with family and friends. He loved meeting his UNH Theta Chi fraternity brothers for lunch at the Cafe Escadrille and also meeting his Marblehead childhood friends at the Three Cod Tavern or The Landing. Bill’s greatest joys were his wife, children and grandchildren.
