Marblehead Festival of Arts organizers unveiled the festival’s 2026 logo at The Landing earlier this week, introducing a student-created blue lobster design that will be used across the 60th anniversary season.

The new mark centers on a two-tone blue lobster, with dark navy claws raised overhead and a lighter blue body. Arched above the claws, the logo reads “The Marblehead Festival of Arts,” with “60th” and “Anniversary” beneath it. Down the lobster’s body, “2026” is stacked vertically in white. A rounded base at the bottom carries the dates “July 1-5.” Along the inner edges of the claws, white negative space creates stylized face profiles looking inward, a nod to the festival’s focus on the arts and community.

The annual logo is used widely on merchandise, signage and web pages, as well as at year-round events tied to the organization. The 2026 logo was selected through the festival’s logo contest process, which culminates in a public ballot and includes a $150 cash prize for the winning design.
