Marblehead Fire Chief Jason Gilliland will present “Marblehead on Fire: Historic Fires, Firefighters and Treasures from the Firehouse” at the Old Marblehead Improvement Association’s annual meeting Sunday, Nov. 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 62 Pleasant St.

The association says the meeting is free and open to the public. It will also include the group’s annual awards, which go to individuals and businesses the association credits with making Marblehead a better place to live. Refreshments will be served.

Over the past year, according to the association, its volunteers updated the visitor map at State Street Wharf and maintained the grounds of the Old Town House, including supplying wreaths there for the holidays.

Annual membership dues are $20. Larry Sands, the association’s president, can be reached at omiamhd@gmail.com for more information about joining.
