Marblehead Health Department’s spring yard waste collection wraps up this week. The final scheduled pickup for the season occurs during the week of June 8, 2026.

Residents are reminded to adhere to the collection guidelines to ensure their waste is picked up:

— Leaf bags only: The collection is strictly for leaves and grass.

— No plastic: Plastic bags and barrels will not be collected or emptied.

— No brush: Bags containing brush or other materials will be left behind, as these items degrade the quality of the compost generated from the leaves.

— Holidays: As a general rule, no collections occur on legal holidays.

For any questions or concerns, residents can contact Andrew Petty, director of public health, at 781-631-0212 or via email at health2@marblehead.org.
