To the editor:
On behalf of the Marblehead Arts Association, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our recent “Through the Looking Glass” Gala such an unforgettable and successful event. Because of the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors and community, we exceeded our fundraising goals in support of our mission to promote art and preserve the historic King Hooper Mansion.
To our attendees, your enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to step into a world of whimsy and wonder truly brought the night to life. Your support of the arts and our creative community means more than words can express.
To our volunteers, we truly appreciate your time, energy and dedication in making every detail of the evening feel seamless and magical. Your creativity transformed the King Hooper Mansion with exquisite art installations, creating a uniquely immersive and sophisticated experience.
We are especially grateful to the talented performers and partners who elevated the evening in exceptional ways. Shauna Martin of Rule of Thirds Photobooth captured unforgettable moments. Gina DeFreitas of Aerialicious Entertainment thrilled guests with her aerial performances, while Harmony Rock kept the energy high on the dance floor. J. Michael Wheeler and Reality Lab transported guests into another realm with augmented reality. Kathryn Scott of Life in Henna created beautiful wearable art and Zenovia’s Sacred Folk Arts offered captivating tarot readings.
A special thank you to our premier sponsors, Shubie’s Marketplace, Landry & Arcari Rugs & Carpeting and Marblehead Sea Glass, for their generous commitment to our mission. We also thank The Clay School, All Computers Great and Small, Copper Bottom Property Management, Fil Nenna Photography, MJP Floral, Cubby Oil & Energy, Preferred Air Heating and Air Conditioning, Marblehead Custom Jewelry, Weaver Orthodontics, Big Rich’s Hot Sauce, Raven Creative and Kathleen Fay and Glenn KnicKrehm for their financial and in-kind support. Shubie’s also generously provided the food offerings and Martignetti kindly provided festive beverages for the occasion.
Thank you all for making the Marblehead Arts Association’s Gala such a memorable success and for helping us continue to foster creativity in our community.
Sincerely,
