The Select Board will hold its annual tax classification hearing and set the fiscal 2027 tax rate at its Dec. 8 meeting, Town Administrator Thatcher Kezer said Oct. 28.

The assessors and the town's other finance offices are preparing for the hearing. Patriot Properties, the town's valuation firm, has substantially finished this year's property values, according to Kezer's written update.

The new rate will be used for the third- and fourth-quarter tax bills.
