To the editor:

We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who came out to support Wreaths Across America at the VFW’s “Hunker in the Bunker” event.

The room was packed, the energy was incredible and the raffle prizes—thanks to so many generous local donors—were a huge hit.

A special thank-you to Ronny and everyone at the VFW for hosting us and for the tremendous work they do year-round on behalf of veterans. Your support and hospitality make events like this possible.

Because of this amazing community, we’re getting closer every day to our goal of placing a wreath on each of Marblehead’s 2,500 veteran graves this December. Your kindness and commitment remind us what makes this town so special.

If you haven’t yet, please consider sponsoring a wreath and helping us finish strong. Every wreath truly makes a difference.

We are deeply grateful for your continued support and proud to see Marblehead come together to honor those who served.

With gratitude,

Emily DeJoy and Kim Crowley
