Shoppers at Old North Church’s annual Holiday Marketplace on Saturday, Nov. 14, will find lobster rolls at lunch, a table of vintage Christmas china and linens, and a silent auction that includes original paintings by Marblehead artists.
The fair runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. It is an annual fundraiser for Old North, according to Jill Dearborn, a church member and this year’s fair chair.
Breakfast is served in the morning. The lunch menu lists lobster rolls, chicken salad and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Children can work at craft tables while adults shop.
One table will hold vintage Christmas decor, including themed linens, china and candles. Another will offer secondhand jewelry, watches, small handbags and accessories.
The Silent Auction of Artwork, Handicrafts and Fine Collectibles includes original paintings by Marblehead artists the release describes as award-winning; collections from Tiffany, Hummel, Royal Doulton and other makers; and handwoven textiles by local artisans. Other tables will sell homemade baked goods and crafts from Pholela, South Africa, home of Old North’s sister church.
New this year is an Author’s Corner. Marblehead author Jennifer Rizzo Hayden will sign and sell copies of her new historical novel, “Uprising,” which follows a peasant girl in 1300s England. Five children’s books by local author Andrew Roger will also be for sale.
The Services and Events for Sale table is back. It offers services performed by community members and tickets to sporting and performing arts events. This year’s list includes a guided trolley tour of Boston, a lobster boat ride with a lobster roll lunch, garden consulting, and appetizers or a dinner prepared for the buyer.
Shoppers who want an early look can attend a preview party at the church on Friday, Nov. 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Appetizers and drinks will be served, and the stalls open for sales during the second hour. Tickets cost $25 per person at bit.ly/PreviewParty2026.
