On Sat. Oct. 17 Marblehead's weekly pro-democracy rally will be a national No Kings VOTE rally to urge passersby to vote.  This nonpartisan No Kings event is intended to get citizens to vote in the upcoming mid-term elections.  The public is invited to join in at the intersection of Lafayette St (Rt. 114) and Maple Street from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Participants can carry their own sign or borrow one from the organization. Bring friends, neighbors and energy. The right to vote is foundational to democracy, and people should be sure to exercise it.  Let's make this a record-setting election. And if you are not already registered to vote, do it now by mail, online, or at Abbot Hall.  Early voting begins on Oct. 17, Town Clerk’s office, Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St. For times go to https://marbleheadma.gov/november-3-2026-state-election-early-voting-hours-location/
